Production

Taking demos, voice notes and rough ideas, and turning them into finished records.

What you can bring me

Clear references get us aligned fast. Beyond that, bring whatever you have: a full demo, a rough mock-up, or the core idea.

If the arrangement is already strong, we keep it. If it isn't, we build one.

What I actually do

Writing, arrangement, playing, programming, recording and the mix. I play most of what you hear, usually guitars, keys, bass and programmed drums.

Fewer loops, fewer sample clearance problems the week before release.

How it works

We agree the direction on a call. Then I do the legwork and build the first production. We review it together and refine, usually over one to four rounds, then the vocals go down, in person or sent in. Then the final polish: mix and master, usually by me.

Every decision counts. What a part should be and how it should be played, then which instrument, which mic, and which bit of air to capture. Knowing when to push for another take and when to work with what's already there is most of the job.

  • We're now on track 8 together and it works really well bouncing ideas back and forth. Max is capable of producing and mixing and mastering radio-ready tracks that sound really professional!
